“At the beginning of the 2003-2004 school year, Mary Miller hosted an assembly where she lectured us about how particularly disgraceful it was to our image as a community of girls to be engaging in gossip. She told us that she was disgusted by our behavior and that there had been an extensive investigation involving lawyers and that none of the accusations against the ‘current faculty’ were true.
Notably, the Community Involvement and English teachers had not returned. Talking to my classmates, no one has any memory of her acknowledging this point, and we have no memory of a letter being sent home to our parents acknowledging that any investigation had occurred. A few of us have asked our parents, and they all say this is the first time that they have heard of it.”
